CAVE DUBUIS & RUDAZ
Our passion, our philosophy
The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to it and we owe it to it.
Cultivating it with the concern of ensuring its sustainability is also guaranteeing our own !
To make wine on the island is not about knowing oenology, because this alchemy of transforming grapes into living wine is not a creative science… because only nature creates !
It is not a question of applying a technique to better control life and produce better wines; on the contrary, it is about letting oneself be inspired and trusting in the dynamics of life.
It is a long-term collaboration between nature and humans.
Homo Oenologus must observe, open his mind to the understanding of nature and its various facets.

It thus becomes the first certified domain in the canton of Vaud. In 2010, a new step was taken since the cellar, which works according to the precepts of biodynamics, obtains the Demeter label. In his early days, Reynald Parmelin also made an original choice, which turned out to be a stroke of marketing genius. He decides to package all his wines in a blue bottle, which allows them to be identified at first glance. Not hesitating to enter his snailed bottles in competitions, Reynald Parmelin has several times won the title of "best Swiss organic wine" at the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse with his Johanniter, a disease resistant grape variety, as well as with his Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes and its Late Vengeance (Pinot Gris - sweet wine). Its classic wines, as well as its high-end cuvées from the Agénor Collection (two red blends, a Merlot and a Chasselas Premier Grand Cru), have made a place for themselves on the great tables of Switzerland, but also in several neighboring countries and regions. HENRI GUALCO
A pioneer in the bottling of Corbières wines since the end of the 1970s, Château Étang des Colombes is renowned for its constant quality of wines.
Over the past six years, our range has expanded with two varietal wines, 100% Grenache and 100% Carignan, to go wonderfully with grilled meats and mixed salads. Summer wine par excellence that can also be drunk slightly chilled.
For convivial consumption, we have packaged certain AOP Corbières and Vins de Pays d'Oc wines in 5 and 10 liter wine fountains.
In 2001, we created a unique wine inspired by late harvest methods on the Viognier grape variety, harvested at the end of October when the stump is overripe. Then pressed directly, vinified and spent in barrels. To be compared to a late Alsatian harvest.
